CHARLIE HUNTER TRIO - Concert - April 24, 2010
Guitar virtuoso Charlie Hunter stunned the crowd with his trio performance featuring Eric Kalb (Drums) and Michael R. Williams (Bass trumpet). Fans traveled from as far as Orlando and Clearwater, FL to catch the guitarist in a rare South Florida appearance. Although Charlie Hunter is best known for his 17 solo albums he has also collaborated on recordings with Norah Jones, John Mayer, John Scofield, Stanton Moore, Les Claypool, Michael Franti, D'Angelo and others.

PILOBOLUS DANCE THEATER - Master Class - April 15, 2010
On Thursday, April 15th dance students from St. Thomas Aquinas, American Heritage, Broward College, Nova University, MUSE Center for the Arts and Meg Segreto's Dance Studio experienced a rare opportunity to study and explore how movement and emotion can influence other dancers on stage. The class was taught by Annika Sheaff and other current members of  the world famous PILOBOLUS Dance Theater.

TAIKO AND SUSHI: Fushu Daiko Live Performance - March 25, 2010
On Thursday, March 25th Fushu Daiko delighted the Bienes Center audience with powerful Taiko Drumming and complex rhythms. The group has been recognized internationally for creating a greater understanding of Japanese culture and strengthing the bonds between the USA and Japan. The Crowd enjoyed authentic Sushi dishes provided by Temptations Catering.

Broadway Artists Alliance Master Class - January 25, 2010
On January 25, 2010 Broadway Artists Alliance conducted a Master Class at the Bienes Center for the Arts. St. Thomas Aquinas Drama, Choir, and Dance students experienced exercises in song interpretation, dance, cold readings and scene study with professional Broadway performers Jennifer Johns (Grease, 42nd Street, Evita) and Tyrick Jones (Hairspray, Fosse, Seussical).

Omaggio a de Chirico - January 18 - Feb 5, 2010
On Monday January 18, 2010 The Bienes Center for the Arts at St. Thomas Aquinas in partnership with The Cá d’Oro Gallery in Rome and The Foundation Giorgio e Isa de Chirico, under the aegis of the United Nations and The Society Dante Alighieri of New York, celebrated the World Premiere of the American Tour of the Exhibition Omaggio a de Chirico. Notably famous Italian Artists were selected to pay tribute to the unique art of the timeless genius Giorgio de Chirico who with his works revolutionized the history of art. The exhibit opened for the first time in the United States at the Bienes Center for the Arts where it was on display through February 4, 2010. The exhibit was enjoyed by over 3,000 visitors!

Bienes Center One Year Anniversary Event featuring Phantom: "Unmasked" - January 8, 2010
On January 8, 2010 we celebrated the one year anniversary of the Bienes Center with a special "Unmasked" performance from Phantom of the Opera stars Kelly Jeanne Grant and Dallyn Vail Bayles accompanied by Phantom Music Director Jonathan Gorst.
